I'm a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a bachelor's degree in nutrition, with a focus on celiac disease education, patient engagement, and practical gluten-free living. I'm also the parent of a child with celiac disease, which has shaped how I understand the gap between medical diagnosis and real-world daily living.

Through both clinical training and lived experience, I've seen how many challenges emerge after diagnosis, when individuals and families must navigate gluten-free life beyond the clinic while managing practical, social, and emotional challenges that extend far beyond medical care.

I founded Gluten Is Not For Me as a community education initiative to support individuals and families as they move from diagnosis to daily living. My work centers on practical education around gluten-free routines, label reading, kitchen safety, and navigating schools, travel, and everyday life with celiac disease.

I work with individuals and families, as well as schools and organizations, to connect evidence-based guidance with realistic, sustainable strategies that support safer gluten-free living. I currently serve as a member of Beyond Celiac's Patient & Family Advisory Board, serve on the Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (SSCD) Education Committee, and facilitate a National Celiac Association support group. I have also served as a parent panelist at an FDA workshop on pediatric celiac disease clinical trials, sharing the patient and family perspective.

My goal is to make gluten-free living clearer, safer, and more manageable while helping ensure that patient and caregiver perspectives remain central to education, research, and real-world implementation in the celiac disease community.
